We are closed for 2022 season.
Our cut-your own trees are $80 (HST included) up to 7ft. This includes all species except for our Scotch pine which are on sale, any size for $40 (HST included). Our pre-cut trees start at $80 (HST included) for Balsam Firs up to 7ft. Most clients can expect to pay between $80 to $100 (HST included) for most trees. NOTE: larger trees (over 10ft) are more expensive and have become very popular. We have a large selection, but prices reflect the work and demand. Please ensure you confirm pricing with staff BEFORE cutting down a large tree.
Once your tree is measured and the price confirmed, you enter our gift shop and let one of our Elves know. You can pay by cash, debit and e-transfer without additional fees. If you use a credit card, we charge the additional fee of the credit card issuer.
During the week, you can park by the house by coming up the long driveway. On weekends, parking by the house is reserved for people with mobility difficulties, expectant mother's and/or those with infants. There is a large parking lot located along Hwy 2. We offer a free tree ferry service to bring your tree to this parking lot.
Too tired from walking around to carry your Christmas Tree? No problem, ask one of our Elves to come and help you. We can transport your tree all the way up to the front parking lot. This is a free service, though the Elves love the tips they receive! Please note that our Elves are not permitted to secure your tree to your vehicle.
Yes, we offer pre-cut Christmas Trees from late November until we run out of stock. If you are looking for something in particular, please call us to determine if we can fulfil your request. Our pre-cut trees come from a combination of those found on our farm and sourced from our Ontario supplier. We ensure the trees from our suppliers meet our high standards for quality and freshness. We do NOT sell the hybrid trees offered at many of the big box retailers.
Yes, while the cut-your-own ends at 4pm, the magic really starts as the sun sets and the farm lights go on. Our pre-cuts, that represent the range of species on the farm, are available until 8 pm Thursday through Saturday and Sunday until 6 pm. If you bought a tree during the day, not to worry - you are more than welcome to come back again in the evening to see the 1000s of lights. Make sure to park up by the house, not in the front parking lot.
We stopped all chemical use on the farm in 2015. Despite the extra work and planning, the flora and fauna here have really benefited and Frank often ends up with a face full of monarch butterflies in the late summer!
Yes, we are a dog friendly farm and your dogs will be greeted by Maddie and Lenny, our Bernese/St. Bernard dogs. Please ensure your dog is on a leash and leave the poop bags at home (they add to the pollution and it is a farm after all).
Yes, the farm is setup in a park like setting scattered with Christmas Trees. There are several picnic tables in various scenic spots on the farm for you to enjoy time with your family and friends.
No, due to liability, only employees of Carole’s Christmas Tree farm can use chainsaws. We provide bow saws or you can bring your own.
Christmas is about giving, friendship and fellowship. Our farm supports first jobs for a number of local students. Many have become like family to us and we love seeing them return. In addition, part of the profits from the farm goes to a number of worthy causes. We have previously sponsored the Napanee Valley Boy Scouts, W.A.F.F.L.E.S, a FIRST Robotics team in Kingston, and a Team Canada Tap Dancing Championship competitor. We provide free trees and boughs to all churches, museums, and many other community organizations.
Presently, we are raising funds for I Challenge Diabetes and the Kingston Choral Society.
As noted above, we are managing a sustainable, environmentally friendly farm. As such, we carefully monitor the number of trees being removed and also the damage caused by visitors. These have an impact on how long we can remain open. The current expected date for 2022 is December 18. We are currently experiencing an above-average demand for trees and, as such, it is possible that we will have to close earlier than planned. Please check our website before you make the journey.
